POWERGRID Recruitment of Field Engineers / Supervisors (53 Posts)

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited - Field Supervisor - Field Engineers - Contract Basis 


To execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State for its transmission system, POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility, of the country invites applications for the following purely temporary experienced posts on contract basis for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier.
Details of the Posts :
a) Field Engineers-Civil 
No. of Posts : 07 (UR – 06 ; OBC – 01)
Qualification : B.E./B.Tech/Bsc. (Engg.)/AMIE in Civil discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized University / Institute.
Remuneration : First year – Rs.30,000/- Second year – Rs.33,000/- pm Consolidated.
Age Limit : 18 – 29 years (Relaxations – SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 years)
b)  Field Supervisors – Civil
No. of Posts : 24 (UR – 14 ; OBC – 04 ; SC – 03 ;  ST – 03)
Qualification : Diploma Engineering in Civil Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks.
Remuneration : First year – Rs.23,000/- Second year – Rs.25,500/- pm Consolidated.
Age Limit : 18 – 29 years (Relaxations – SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 years)
c)  Field Supervisors – Electrical
No. of Posts : 22 (UR – 13 ; OBC – 04 ;  SC – 03 ; ST – 02)
Qualification : Diploma Engineering in Electrical Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks.
Remuneration : First year – Rs.23,000/- Second year – Rs.25,500/- pm Consolidated.
Age Limit : 18 – 29 years (Relaxations – SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 years)
Selection Procedure : Screening test and Personal Interview.  The Screening test shall be of Objective Type (Each question having four multiple choice answer options) of one  hour duration consisting of two parts.Part-I with 50 questions having specific questions from your discipline. PartIIconsists of 25questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency, numerical ability etc.
Application Fee : Rs.200/- for Field Engineers and Rs.100/- for Field Supervisors (NO Fee for SC/ST/PH) - A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of  “POWER GRID  CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” Payable at PATNA (preferably drawn on State Bank of India).
How to Apply : Interested eligible candidates should send their applications completed in all respects in the prescribed proforma alongwith non-refundable application fees as mentioned above in form of A/C Payee Demand Draft and/ or attested copy of Caste(SC/ST/OBC-NCL)/ Disability (PwD)/ Discharge (Ex-SM) certificate, as applicable, Qualification certificate, Date of birth certificate and experience certificate to the following address super scribing the envelop with “Application for Post Code …………… in POWERGRID, ER-I” by ORDINARY POST only.
