The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation Recruitment Process - 2012
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation is established by
State Government of Maharashtra as per the provision in Section 3 of
RTC Act 1950. The Present Maharashtra State Road Transport
Corporation(M.S.R.T.C.) represents the confluence of three streams for
providing passenger road transport in the public sector. These related
to the Pre-1956 Reorganization states of Bombay, Madhya Pradesh and
Hyderabad. However, in chronological sequence, the place of pride for providing public road transport services goes to the Hyderabad state.
MSRTC invites application online from interested candidates for various Posts in the following Categories :
1. Clerk Typist - 1936 Posts
2. Assistant - 2658 Posts
3. Driver - 6247 Posts
4. Conductor - 8948 Posts
Minimum Qualification : 10th Pass /SSC with ITI in the respective trade or equivalent with driving license.
Age Details : for Conductor, Clerk Typist and Assistant : 18 - 33 yrs ; for Driver - 24 - 35 yrs
Application Fee : Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for reserved Categories) - Payment to be made in SBI Bank (using printed challan available after registration.)
How to Apply : Candidates are required to Apply online. No other mode of application will be accepted.
