Madhya  Pradesh  Poorv  Kshetra  Vidyut  Vitaran  Company  Limited,  Jabalpur  has  been incorporated  to undertake activities of  distribution  of  electricity in the Eastern part  of  M.P.,  invites applications from the eligible candidates for appointment of J.E.(Electrical-Contract) as per the following detail :

Post Name : Junior Engineer (Electrical)

No. of Posts : 101 (UR – 48 / SC – 16 / ST – 22 / OBC – 15)

Reservations : The reservation for SC, ST and OBC category shall be applicable only for the candidates of Madhya Pradesh Domicile. Such candidates shall be required to submit a proof of Domicile in M.P State and to produce Caste Certificate issued by S.D.O (Revenue) of concerning jurisdiction for availing the benefits of reservation.

Salary : The Junior Engineer (Electrical  – Contract) shall  be engaged initially on a lump-sum consolidated monthly honorarium of  Rs. 15,000/-  per  month plus Rs.400/-  per  month mobility allowance and Rs.400/- per month communication allowance. The honorarium may be increased by 10% after one year of contract period, depending upon the performance of the person engaged on contract. The minimum statutory employer’s  contribution towards New Pension  Scheme shall  be exclusive of above.

Period of Contract : 3 years

Qualification : The candidate should have minimum qualification of Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by University Grants Commission or AICTE, with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in case of Unreserved / OBC category candidates and 50% in case of SC / ST category candidates. Candidates having degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics branch may also apply.

Age Limit : The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on  30/06/2012. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC/ Physically Handicapped categories, widow / divorcee lady candidates, ex serviceman shall get relaxation in upper age limit to an extent of five years subject to production of proof.

Training : The selected candidate will  be given three months induction training at  Central  training Institute,  Nayagaon, Jabalpur. After completion of training, the Junior Engineer (Electrical Contract) shall  be subjected to a written test and upon qualifying this exam (min.50% marks) the contract  shall  be continued.

Application Fee: GEN/OBC (Rs.300/- plus Rs. 60/- portal charges.), Rs. 60/- portal charges for SC /ST.
