Railway Recruitment Cell/Patna invites applications from citizens of
India and such other candidates declared eligible by the Ministry of
Home Affairs, Government of India to fill up the following posts :
1. Porter – 403 Posts (UR – 204 ; OBC – 90 ; SC – 61 ; ST – 30 ; Minorities – 18)
2. Trackman – 779 Posts (UR – 394 ; OBC – 175 ; SC – 117 ; ST – 58 ; Minorities – 35)
3. Helper II (Mechanical) – 236 Posts (UR – 119 ; OBC – 54 ; SC – 35 ; ST – 18 ; Minorities – 10)
4. Helper-II (S&T) – 186 Posts (UR – 94 ; OBC – 42 ; SC – 28 ; ST – 14 ; Minorities – 08)
5. Helper II (Electrical) – 207 Posts (UR – 105 ; OBC – 46 ; SC – 31 ; ST – 15 ; Minorities – 10)
6. Safaiwala (med & Sanitary) – 57 Posts (UR – 29 ; OBC – 13 ; SC – 09 ; ST – 04 ; Minorities – 02)
7. Gr. ‘D’ (Engg.) – 322 Posts (UR – 163 ; OBC – 73 ; SC – 48 ; ST – 24 ; Minorities – 14)
8. Gr.’D’ (Store) – 36 Posts ( UR – 18 ; OBC – 08 ; SC – 06 ; ST – 02 ; Minorities – 02)
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
Educational Qualification : 10th Pass or ITI / Centre of Excellence (COE) or equivalent.
Age Limit : 18 – 33 years as on 01-01-2013 (Relaxation – SC/ST – 5 years ; OBC – 3 years ; PH – 10 years)
Application Fee : Rs.40/- (forty only) payable in a form of crossed Indian Postal Order only, drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer(RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, E.C.Railway, payable at Patna. (No Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women/Minority Categories)
How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format. Candidates should submit the applications either in Hindi or in English. The application should be on good quality A-4 size bond white paper (210mmx297mm, 80 GSM) using one side only. The filled in application along with the required documents should be addressed to the Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna – 800011, Bihar.
