NLC Limited, A “NavRatna” Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal earning profits for over three decades and poised for rapid growth in terms of mining activities and Power Generation, proposes to engage Graduate and Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 purely for one year Training in the following designated subject fields :
1. Technician Apprenticeship Training (TAT)
i) Mechanical Engineering – 70 posts
ii) Electrical Engineering – 60 posts
iii) Civil Engineering – 20 posts
iv) Instrumentation – 10 posts
v) Chemical Engineering – 10 posts
vi) Mining Engineering – 10 posts
vii) Computer Engineering – 10 posts
viii) Electronics & Communication – 10 posts
ix) Commercial Practice – 10 posts – Diploma in Commercial Practice with 55% (50% for SC/ST)
ii) Electrical Engineering – 60 posts
iii) Civil Engineering – 20 posts
iv) Instrumentation – 10 posts
v) Chemical Engineering – 10 posts
vi) Mining Engineering – 10 posts
vii) Computer Engineering – 10 posts
viii) Electronics & Communication – 10 posts
ix) Commercial Practice – 10 posts – Diploma in Commercial Practice with 55% (50% for SC/ST)
Eligibility Criteria : Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)
Stipend : Rs.2530/- pm
2. Graduate Apprenticeship Training (GAT)
i) Mechanical Engineering – 50 posts
ii) Electrical Engineering – 50 posts
iii) Civil Engineering – 15 posts
iv) Instrumentation – 10 posts
v) Chemical Engineering – 10 posts
vi) Mining Engineering – 10 posts
vii) Computer Engineering – 10 posts
viii) Electronics & Communication – 10 posts
ix) Transportation Engineering – 15 posts
ii) Electrical Engineering – 50 posts
iii) Civil Engineering – 15 posts
iv) Instrumentation – 10 posts
v) Chemical Engineering – 10 posts
vi) Mining Engineering – 10 posts
vii) Computer Engineering – 10 posts
viii) Electronics & Communication – 10 posts

Eligibility Criteria : Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)
Stipend : Rs.3560/- pm
General Conditions :
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination after 01 – 11 – 2009.
- Candidates belonging to the States of Andhra Pradesh, Tami nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and the Union Territory of Puducherry and Laksha Deep are only eligible.
- Candidates should not have undergone or presently undergoing Apprenticeship training in NLC or elsewhere.
- Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
