Cochin Shipyard Limited - Vacancy for ITI Trade Apprentices - No.P&A/6(115)/12
Cochin Shipyard Limited, a Mini Ratna Company of Government of India,
proposes induction of ITI Trade Apprentices for one / two years
training as stipulated under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the following
trades :

Educational Qualification : Pass in SSLC and ITI (NCVT) certificate in the respective trade securing minimum of 60% of marks from a recognised ITI Institute.
Note : Candidates who have appeared for the final year examination of ITI trades may also apply and such candidates should submit the results/certificates on the date of personal interview scheduled in September 2012. No further time will be granted for submission of certificates.
Age : Age 18 to 25 years as on 31 Aug 2012 (Relaxation - SC/ST - 5 yrs / OBC - 3 yrs / PWD - 10yrs)
Stipend While in Training : During the one year training period candidates selected as Apprentices will be paid a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 3000/- during the first year and 4000/- during the second year as applicable. The above rates will be effective from 01 Oct 2012. No other allowances will be paid during the period of Apprenticeship training.
Selection Procedure : The method of selection will be based on the marks secured in the SSLC examination, ITI marks and a Personal Interview held at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kochi.
