INDIAN BANK, A Leading Public Sector Bank With Headquarters in Chennai invites ONLINE Application from India citizen who have taken Common Written Examination(CWE) for Specialist Officers conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS), Mumbai on 11.03.2012 and have valid score card issued by IBPS and meet the eligibility criteria.

Total Posts : 215 (UR – 108 ; OBC – 58 ; SC – 32 ; ST – 17)

1. Legal Officer – Scale II – 25 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.19400 – 700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100

Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Law (BL / LLB) with 3 years Experience.

Age Limit : 32 years

2. Computer Officer / IT Officer – Scale II – 10 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.19400 – 700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100

Qualification : Graduate Degree or PG Degree in Computers with 1 year experience.

Age Limit : 32 years

3. Rural Development Officer / Assistant Manager (Agri) – Scale I – 151 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700

Qualification : Degree in Agriculture or allied Specializations.

Age Limit : 30 years

4. Rajbhasha Adhikari / Hindi Officer / Assistant Manager (OL) – Scale I – 29 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700

Qualification : A PG Degree in Hindi or Sanskrit with English in the Degree Level.

Age Limit : 30 years

Essential Qualification : Candidates applying for the above Posts Should hold valid IBPS Score Card in respect of the common written examination conducted on 11 – 03 – 2012 for Specialist Officers.

Selection Process : Selection for the Post of Specialist Officers will be based on the TWSS in the CWE Conducted by IBPS Mumbai on 11 – 03 – 2012 and the marks scored in the Group Discussion / Interview.

Application fee : Rs.100/- (Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD )  Payment should be made in Cash in any branch of Indian Bank using the specific challan which may be downloaded from the Bank’s Official website.
