IISER Pune recruitment of “Research Associate” & “Project Junior Research Fellow” under funded project

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research - AD.No.20/2012 - JRF - Research Associate

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. 

Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions under the project entitled “Emergent Dynamics on Growing Networks with Comparable Time Scales (Project Code- 30110033)” funded by Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.

1. Research Associate - 01 Post
Fellowship : Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 24,000/- per month + 20% HRA based on academic record and work experience of the candidate.
Qualification : Ph.D. in Theoretical Nonlinear Dynamics, Statistical Physics or related areas. 
Desirable: Interest to work in network theory and exposure to computational techniques of nonlinear dynamics. The RA is expected to work in a team and take a lead in starting the work and interacting with all members in the group.
Tenure : upto 02nd August 2013
Age Limit : 35 years

2. Project Junior Research Fellow (Project JRF) - 01 Post
Fellowship : Starting fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- or Rs. 16,000/- per month + 20% HRA based on academic record and CSIR/UGC-JRF/NET score cards
Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Physics from recognized  University / Institute with Minimum 55% marks / Equivalent grade. 
Tenure : upto 02nd August 2013
Age Limit : 28 years
