Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, Tamilnadu invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Technical Officers, Scientific Officers & Trainees in the disciplines of Laboratory, Chemical Plant operators, Millwright Fitter, Bench Fitter, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Architecture, Computer Science, Electronics, Civil, Rigger, Library Science etc. The details are as follows :

Details of the Posts :

1. Scientific Officer : 6 Post

2. Technical Officer : 14 Post

3. Trainees : 90 Post

Pay Scale :

i) Scientific Officer / E : Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600

ii) Scientific Officer / D & Technical Officer / D : Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600

iii) Technical Officer / C : Rs.15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400

iv) Category – I Trainee : Rs.9300/- Stipend per month.

v) Category – II Trainee : Rs.6200/- Stipend per month during I year & Rs. 7200/- Stipend per month during II year

Tenure of Training : 2 Years

Selection Process : Written Exam – Personal Interview

Application fee : Rs. 50/- (No Fees for SC/ST/Women/PH/ExSM) Payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Pay & Accounts Officer, IGCAR, Kalpakkam payable at in SBI Bank / Canara Bank, Kalpakkam.
