Punjab PSC Recruitment of 334 Posts of Medical Officers

The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Online Applications From eligible candidates for recruitment to Three Hundred & Thirty Four Posts of Medical Officer  (General) in the Health and Family Welfare Department Govt. of  Punjab. Further details are given below :

Others Sports Person, Punjab – 04 ; Balmiki/Mazhbi Sikh, Punjab – 57 ; B/M Sikh ESM/LDESM, Punjab – 11 ; B/M Sikh Sports Person,
Punjab – 03 ; Backward Class, Punjab – 31 ; B.C. ESM/LDESM, Punjab – 13)

Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay 5400 + NPA+ Allowances.

Qualification : i) M.B.B.S. ii) Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council  in India; and iii) Knowledge of Punjabi Language of Matriculation Standard or its equivalent : Candidates who do not possess this qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their joining the service failing which their services shall be terminated.

Age Limit : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on the 01-01-2012.

Application fee : Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab – Rs.125/- ; Physically Handicapped – Rs.250/- ; Ex-Servicemen of Punjab – NO fee ; All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Exservicemen, Punjab) – Rs.500/- DD issued by a branch of State Bank of India or State Bank of Patiala, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, payable at Patiala.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. After successful Registration ONLINE Candidates are required to take Print Out of the Process. The Hard Copy (Print Out) along with necessary enclosures (for a list of enclosures please refer the pdf ; link given below) along with the DD for the Application fee should be sent to The Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala-147001.
