The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Online Applications from eligible Candidates for recruitment to the Twenty Five Posts of Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil/Electrical) in the Department of Public Works (B&R), Government of Punjab.Details of the Posts :
1. Sub Divisional Engineering (Civil)
No. of Posts : 22 Posts (General – 12 ; ESM/LDESM Punjab – 01 ; SC, Punjab – 01 ; SC ESM/LDESM, Punjab – 01 ; SC Sports Person, Punjab – 01 ; B/M Sikh Punjab – 02 ; B.C., Punjab – 03 ; B.C.ESM/LDESM Punjab – 01)
2. Sub Divisional Engineer (Electrical)
No. of Posts : 03 Posts (General – 01 ; ESM/LDESM Punjab – 01 ; B.C. Punjab – 01)
Qualification : Should possess a degree in Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering from a recognised University or Institution.
Age Limit : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on the 1-1-2012. (Relaxation as per rules)
Application fee : Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab – Rs.125/- ; Physically Handicapped – Rs.250/- ; All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen, Punjab) – Rs.500/- ; Ex-Servicemen of Punjab – NO FEE – DD issued by a branch of State Bank of India or State Bank of Patiala, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, payable at Patiala.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to Apply ONLINE. After successful Registration the Candidates are required to take a Print Out of the Online Process. The Print Out (Hard Copy) Along with necessary enclosures (please refer the pdf for a list of enclosures ; link given below) including the DD for the application fee should be addressed to The Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala-147001.
