Bose Institute, founded in 1917 by Sir Jagadis Chandra Bose, is a premier institution for basic and applied research in Physical and Biological Sciences as well as inter-disciplinary sciences. 

Bose Institute has Several Vacancies in the following Faculty Disciplines :

A. Faculty Fellow

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay 6,600

B. Professor

Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with grade pay Rs.8,900

C. Associate Professor

Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with grade pay Rs.8,700 

D. Assistant Professor

Pay Scale : 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay Rs. 7,600

Qualification Criteria : Highly motivated, competent scientists of Indian Nationality with established credentials and Ph.D. in respective area (Faculty fellow), Ph.D. with at least four years’ post doctoral research experience (Assistant professor), Ph.D. with at least eight years’ post doctoral research experience including evidence of independent research (Associate Professor) and established scientists with proven credentials for independent research and leadership (Professor).
